Draft
Also known as “draft angles”. Refers to portion of injection molding part that has some taper to make it easier to remove from the mold.
Generally all plastic components should be designed with draft where possible.

Draft analysis in DFM Report
At Plastopia, we will provide draft analysis on our DFM report. You are not necessarily required to send us part drawings with draft to move on, but confirm them.
Alternative solution for not drafted parts
There are some part designs that you would not like to have drafts. The main reason reason would be part geometrics, for example, a long box. However, you can consider other molding solution like plastic extrusion.
